Got any plans next weekend? Then load up the kids or whoever and head over the Harrisburg, PA, for VoidCon 4 at the Crowne Plaza from November 12th through the 14th. Three days of book events, with readings, film screenings, all things weird and horror. I’ll have a table with signed books for sale. My whole catalogue, even my Velox short story collections, will be on hand.
Since I live in Oklahoma, I’m driving out over two days and stopping at weird spots along the way. Sideshow museum? Cahokia? The site of the 1965 Kecksburg UFO crash?! I’m seeing it all! Plus, keeping my eyes peeled for thunderbirds. Hear they love those Pennsylvania skies.
I’m also looking forward to seeing fellow horror friends in person. Also tasking myself with making some headway on a novel I’m working on, maybe figure out this short story I’m wrasslin’ with. Gotta make the most of my hotel time!
